ਮੈ ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਖੋਜਿ ਖੋਜੇਦਿਆ ਸੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਲਧਾ ਲੋੜਿ ॥
mai man tan khoj khojedhiaa so prabh ladhaa loR ||
Searching and examining my mind and body, I have found that God, whom I longed for.
ਜੋ ਜਨ ਪੀਰਿ ਨਿਵਾਜਿਆ ਤਿੰਨੑਾ ਅੰਚ ਨ ਲਾਗ ॥੮੨॥
jo jan peer nivaajiaa ti(n)n(h)aa a(n)ch na laag ||82||
Those humble beings who are blessed by their spiritual teacher, do not suffer even a scratch. ||82||
ਵਖਤੈ ਉਪਰਿ ਲੜਿ ਮਰੈ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਵੇਲੈ ਸਬਦੁ ਅਲਾਪੈ।
vakhatai upar laR marai a(n)mirat velai sabadh alaapai|
One who dies fighting in the hour of peril and recites the Word in the ambrosial hour is known as the true warrior.
ਹਉ ਤਿਨ ਕੈ ਬਲਿਹਾਰਣੈ ਜਿਨੀ ਸਚੁ ਰਖਿਆ ਉਰਿ ਧਾਰਿ ॥
hau tin kai balihaaranai jinee sach rakhiaa ur dhaar ||
I am a sacrifice to those who enshrine the True Lord within their hearts.
ਅੰਤਰਿ ਪਿਰੀ ਪਿਆਰੁ ਕਿਉ ਪਿਰ ਬਿਨੁ ਜੀਵੀਐ ਰਾਮ ॥
a(n)tar piree piaar kiau pir bin jeeveeaai raam ||
My inner being is filled with love for my Beloved Husband Lord. How can I live without Him?
ਤੂ ਸਮਰਥੁ ਸਦਾ ਹਮ ਦੀਨ ਭੇਖਾਰੀ ਰਾਮ ॥
too samarath sadhaa ham dheen bhekhaaree raam ||
You are eternal and all-powerful; I am a mere beggar, Lord.
ਸੋ ਐਸਾ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਈਐ ਮਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਜੋ ਸਭਨਾ ਉਪਰਿ ਹੁਕਮੁ ਚਲਾਏ ॥
so aaisaa har naam dhiaaieeaai man mere jo sabhanaa upar hukam chalaae ||
Meditate on that Name of the Lord, O my mind, whose Command rules over all.
