ਗੜ ਬਗਦਾਦੁ ਨਿਵਾਇਕੈ ਮਕਾ ਮਦੀਨਾ ਸਭੇ ਨਿਵਾਇਆ।
gaR bagadhaadh nivaikai makaa madheenaa sabhe nivaiaa|
After making Baghdad bow, all of Mecca and Medina also bowed.

ਸਿਧ ਚਉਰਾਸੀਹ ਮੰਡਲੀ ਖਟਿ ਦਰਸਨਿ ਪਾਖੰਡਿ ਜਿਣਾਇਆ।
sidh chauraaseeh ma(n)ddalee khaT dharasan paakha(n)dd jinaiaa|
He (Baba Nanak) subjugated the eighty four siddhas and hypocrises of the six schools of Indian Philosophy

ਪਾਤਾਲਾ ਆਕਾਸ ਲਖ ਜੀਤੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਜਗਤ ਸਬਾਇਆ।
paataalaa aakaas lakh jeetee dharatee jagat sabaiaa|
Hundreds of thousands of underworlds, skies, earths and the whole creation were conquered.

ਜੀਤੇ ਨਵ ਖੰਡ ਮੇਦਨੀ ਸਤਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਦਾ ਚੱਕ੍ਰ ਫਿਰਾਇਆ।
jeete nav kha(n)dd medhanee sat naam dhaa cha'kr firaiaa|
Subjugating all nine realms, he established the cycle of Satnaam, the true name.

ਦੇਵਦਾਨੋ ਰਾਕਸਿ ਦੈਤ ਸਭ ਚਿਤਿਗੁਪਤਿ ਸਭਿ ਚਰਨੀ ਲਾਇਆ।
dhevadhaano raakas dhait sabh chitigupat sabh charanee laiaa|
All the gods, demons, deities, and the recording angels, Chitr and Gupt, bowed at his feet.

ਇੰਦ੍ਰਾਸਣਿ ਅਪਛਰਾ ਰਾਗ ਰਾਗਨੀ ਮੰਗਲੁ ਗਾਇਆ।
ei(n)dhraasan apachharaa raag raaganee ma(n)gal gaiaa|
Indra and his nymphs sang auspicious songs.

ਭਇਆ ਅਨੰਦ ਜਗਤੁ ਵਿਚਿ ਕਲਿ ਤਾਰਨ ਗੁਰੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਆਇਆ।
bhiaa ana(n)dh jagat vich kal taaran gur naanak aaiaa|
The world filled with bliss because Guru Nanak came to give deliverance to the Age of Darkness.

ਹਿੰਦੂ ਮੁਸਲਮਾਣਿ ਨਿਵਾਇਆ ॥੩੭॥
hi(n)dhoo musalamaan nivaiaa ||37||
Hindus and Muslims alike bowed before him.
