// ABOUTABOUT THIS RELEASE

For more than a decade, Dr. Harjinder Singh Lallie has researched the oldest known recorded Sikh music. By analyzing available records, and discographies, Dr. Lallie identified and retrieved the recordings of Sikh voices dating back to 1903. Join us for the day at Warwick University on 16th March 2024 to celebrate this amazing journey as Gurmat Sangeet Academy & Kirtan Fi reveal to the world, digitally Remastered Gramophone recordings from our ancestry. These recordings are guaranteed to bring goosebumps to the listener as we delve ear-first into the early 1900s! This groundbreaking event will share this research, and enable attendees to hear some of these recordings for the first time in more than 120 years. GSA have partnered with Kirtan Fi to have these original recordings remastered to digital standards and to publish this khajana and present it to the Khalsa Panth on all streaming platforms. Please join us on this amazing journey which began 15 years ago and continues alongside the Sangat!
