Deeply emotional Shabad composed by Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh Guru. It was written during a time of great hardship when he was separated from his family and followers after the Battle of Chamkaur. Guru Ji expresses the pain of separation and sends a message to his “beloved friend,” symbolizing the Divine. The Shabad conveys longing for spiritual union with Waheguru and reflects themes of devotion, resilience, and trust in God despite suffering.
